Keys to Sobriety that Looks to God for Help - Dick B.

I've found no substitute for the experience I had in entering A.A. and taking some steps to recovery that existed from the beginning. They involved quitting for good. They involved turning to God for deliverance. They involved squaring my life with His will. They involved growth in understanding God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Bible through prayer, Bible study, Quiet Time, and Christian literature. And they certainly involved intensive work with the alcoholics who still suffer. The latter is the unique assignment for AAs. And I took it seriously. The last point was equally important--fellowship and friendship with like-minded believers who knew how to live a happy, sober, and free life without a sense of being judged for the misdeeds of the past.

Happy New Year. God Bless, Dick B. www.dickb.com
