We're Excited About A.A. History Events in November

We are excited. Ken and Dick, that is. We will be holding workshops on A.A. History and the Christian Recovery Movement in the South Bay Area in California (San Jose, Los Gatos, Foster City, Brentwood, etc); in Cleveland where we will be unearthing the long-ignored records of Cleveland AA and the contributions of Clarence H. Snyder – Tues Nov 5 – Thurs Nov 8. It will be a workshop again. Photos, laborers in the vineyard, documents, archives, history. And then , of course,  the Came to Believe Retreat at Leesburg. We have an entirely new view of the New Era of A.A. History and are sending out informative flyers far and wide. We will have four new books, plus some historical treasures to discuss, and primarily how to apply old school Christian A.A. roots and Christian fellowship ideas of the 1930’s to 12 Step fellowships and recovery for newcomers today. It’s all about the role played by God, His Son  Jesus Christ, and the Bible in the recovery  movement and that they can play today. Dick B., Executive Director, International Christian Recovery Coalition, Kihei, Maui, Hawaii.

Our tickets on the planes have been purchased. Our hotel reservations have been made. Phone calls, emails, newsletters, and blogs on their way. ChristianRecoveryRadio interviews and announcements.  We’ve sent out hundreds of new flyers. We’ve asked for some funding help in addition to four generous assists already provided. And we are waiting for you to participate and rejoice!

God bless,

Dick B.
