I receive so many questions almost daily that ask whether A.A. is open to Christians, whether it is a Christian Fellowship today, whether it is a sect or cult or denomination, whether it is a religion, whether it bars Christians, their expression of their views, and their worship, and some other major items that trouble Christians, AAs, atheists, and those of no religious beliefs at all.
After 24 years of continuous sobriety, 20 years of research and publishing, and travel all over the United States, I felt it important to answer these questions for all who want documented answers.
