Brief Synopsis of the
Dick B. Radio Interview
Dick
B. tells you how he and his son Ken, in company with the International
Christian Recovery Coalition, will be presenting in 2013 an exciting, new,
well-researched picture of Alcoholics Anonymous today. And how it can be viewed
from the perspective of those who want God’s help and realize that early A.A.
developed and used the effective technique beginning in 1935.
You’ll
hear the facts from two men who have worked tirelessly for twenty-three years
to help still suffering alcoholics and addicts be cured by turning to their
Creator for deliverance through Jesus Christ—just as Bill W., Dr. Bob, and A.A.
Number Three did in 1935.
The
key is not dry, out-dated, irrelevant history embodied in out-dated accounts
thirty or more years ago. The key is looking to see what A.A.
Conference-approved literature points to in this day and age as “The Solution”
to alcoholism. Then looking at the highly successful Akron and Cleveland
programs to see how they applied that Solution before there were any Steps,
Traditions, Big Books, drunkalogs or present-day meetings like those we see.
And finally stepping up to the plate in today’s recovery scene, praying to God,
Bible in hand, in company with like-minded believers, and bent on carrying the
original old school A.A. Christian Fellowship message to the newcomer today who
still suffers.
2013
is laid out before you. The tools are three new Dick B. and Ken B. books—(1) Stick the Winners! How to Conduct More
Effective 12-Step Recovery Meetings Using Conference Approved Literature: A
Dick B. Guide for Christian Leaders and Workers in the Recovery Arena (2) Pioneer Stories in Alcoholics Anonymous: God’s
Role in Recovery Confirmed! (3) Carry
This Message!
We
let the early AAs themselves tell in their own personal stories—so long removed
from public view—exactly what they did in their AA of Akron Christian
Fellowship to establish their relationships with God and be healed. The
shibboleth that a suffering drunk can manufacture, fashion, or choose his own
conception of some idol or false God is now on its way out. And we tell you
how this will be utilized in the coming early months of 2013 –
particularly in large conferences and workshops in southern Florida and in the
San Francisco Bay Area.
