My son Ken and I were invited by Bishop Frank Costantino (now deceased) to attend and did attend the formation of International Substance Abuse & Addiction Coalition. It took place at Indian River in Florida. Christian clergy and recovery leaders from the United States and abroad were in attendance.
Through the years, I have kept in touch with the organization (given the acronym ISAAC). More important, I have frequently been in touch with two of its most recent presidents
The first is Darvin Smith, M.D., of Colorado--addictionologist and co-director of the Addiction and Substance Abuse work at YWAM. Darv is a participant, leader, and supporter of our International Christian Recovery Coalition.
The second is the current president Jean LaCour, Ph.D. Jean is the founder and president of NET Training Institute in Florida. She is also a participant, leader, and supporter of our International Christian Recovery Coalition.
And I am pleased to announce that I have now officially become a member of the International Substance & Addiction Coalition.
