The Frequency of Biblical Names for
God in the Big Book
The following information is from:

Big Book: A.A.'s Roots in the Bible, Bridge Builders Edition (Kihei, HI:
Paradise Research Publications, Inc., 1997), 49-50.
"God"
is mentioned 277 times by name, with a capital "G," in the
third edition of A.A.'s Big Book.1 The Big Book also contains 107
specific pronouns—he, him, his, and himself—which are capitalized and clearly
refer to “God.”2 Counting the Big Book’s use of Biblical names for
God (such as “Creator,” “Maker” and as specified below), the God of the Bible
is mentioned over 400 times.3
