I have encountered this...My name is Gary Neidhardt. I have encountered this paragraph written by a secretary at what used to be called Headquarters that we know call the GSO. This secretary was documenting remarks of Norman Vincent Peale at an AA celebration of Bill Wilson getting sober. It was held in late November or early December of 1943:<br /><br />"We, in New York, celebrated the ninth birthday of A.A. last week with some 800 members joining in. Dr. Norman Vincent Peale paid Bill one of the most beautiful tributes, I have ever heard. Said, in his opinion, that Bill was the greatest living spiritual force in the world today. Dr. Peale is well-known thru out this country because of his weekly national broadcasts. I want to listen to his next few. Bet that A.A. and Bill are mentioned."<br /><br />Is there any other source that validates that Dr. Peale actually said this?Gary Neidhardthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01140573774488243118noreply@blogger.com
